Delete your account

App: The impostor (El Impostor)

You can delete your account and its data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

1. From the app (fastest)

Open the app and go to Settings (gear icon, top right of the home screen) → Account → Delete my account. You will be asked to confirm. The deletion happens immediately.

The Account section only appears when you are signed in with Google. If you have never signed in, the app has no account for you: everything you see (level, stats, custom topics) lives only on your device, and uninstalling the app removes it.

2. By email

Write to hectorlrsoporte@hotmail.com from the email address of the Google account you use in the app, with the subject "Delete my account". We will process the request within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done.

What gets deleted

Your account (Google sign-in) for this app.
Your profile: username, level and XP stored in the cloud.
Every community topic you published, including its words and hints.

What is kept, and for how long

On your device: your local progress (level, statistics, custom topics you never published) stays on the phone. Uninstalling the app removes it.
Purchases: the "remove ads" purchase belongs to your Google Play account, not to your app account, and is not affected. You can restore it at any time from Settings.
Anonymous analytics and crash reports: aggregated data that is not linked to your account and cannot be traced back to you. Retained up to 14 months by Firebase.
Game rooms: temporary by nature. They are removed automatically once the game ends or the room goes inactive.
